Hi, I’m Kyra, also known as @kyracrochets on TikTok and Instagram! If you’ve stumbled on this site and have no clue what all this is about, here’s your (overly extensive) intro.

I’ve been crocheting since 2020, and one project I’ve attempted (but never finished) is a temperature blanket. Temperature blankets are a popular project where each temperature range is assigned a color, and you crochet or knit one row of your blanket each day based on the day’s temperature.

When the Eras Tour came around, I remembered how Taylor Swift had performed “surprise songs” on her past tours - each night, she played a different acoustic song that wasn’t on the regular setlist. Hoping this would be the case for the Eras Tour, I had the idea to make a temperature blanket (Taylor’s Version)!

I assigned a color to each of her albums, and I crocheted one row for each surprise song, with the color of the row being determined by the album that the song was from.

On the first night of the Eras Tour, I made a TikTok about the blanket I was making, and it reached much further than I ever expected! People started following along and making their own blankets and other projects to track the surprise songs (special shoutout to Ashley @ashren22 on TikTok for the original surprise song snake!).

After the tour, I made a video compilation to showcase everyone’s projects, but with over 400 (!!!) submissions, it’s hard to have the time to appreciate each one in a ten-minute video. I decided to create this website, so you can browse all the incredible projects and give them the time they deserve!
